When Standard Products Are Not Enough

Every landmark building has moments where off-the-shelf components fall short. A curved entrance canopy that no standard panel system can accommodate. A parametric facade screen where each module is a unique geometry. A decorative metal ceiling where the pattern, material, and structure must work as one integrated design. These are the challenges that custom fabrication exists to solve.
Ballesta Metal's custom fabrication division operates within our 13,000 sqm manufacturing facility in Foshan, China, equipped with CNC five-axis machining centers, 3D roll forming lines, hydraulic press brakes up to 4,000 tons, fiber laser cutting systems, and automated welding stations. This is not a workshop making one-offs, it is an industrial-scale operation capable of producing 50,000 square meters of custom metal components per month while maintaining the dimensional precision that complex architectural installations demand.
We work with the file formats architects actually use: Rhino, Revit, SketchUp, and STEP files flow directly into our CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) system, where our engineers review geometry, identify fabrication constraints, suggest design optimizations, and generate toolpath programs. This digital workflow eliminates translation errors and compresses the time from design approval to first-article production to as little as five working days for standard custom profiles.
